My third and biggest project started at the 3rd January 2008 and my idea was to built up a TAF to a widepody pinball. In this pinball i worked after my diary now more than 1000 hours and all at this project was built up complete new like the cabinett. All lines and graphics at this project i made new by myself and in this project i used only some of the old original parts like e.g. the plastic behind the vault. All other plastics must be made new plastics because all dimensions of my widebody pin are differnt to the original. And also my intention was that i have a complete view and design and in this way it was not possible to use the originals. Like the curtains; my curtains have a purpure colour but not red; so the plastics must be new. Yes and it´s today a wonderful feeling; if i look into the cabinett it´s like a brandnew pinball; no smell or taste of an old and used machine. Today i´m happy that i walked this long and strong way! That´s also the reason why i cleaned all old parts very exactly into the last details which i must use for my pin like the electronic plates. Like the cables; all were single cleaned and then put again together to a new cable tree. Very often this project takes me to the way that i must say: SHIT! Because it was allways the same: If i think now it will go his way and little more faster - there was a new and sometimes VERY big problem! And sometimes i think i must be very crazy in my head; but at end i found allways a solution for the problems. If i remember about the vault; or the swamp; or some simple parts like positioning parts under the playfield....But to speak about all what happens..... there is not enough place here at this location to write about this all. But i will show much about the moddings from this pinball in next time under my section “restoration”.But as i see this TAF is a single worldwide prototype machine wtih many features i´m working now and i think that he will running first time in spring March/April this year. For myself it is a pinball which shows much more about the Addams Families “Black Humor” and i hope you will like it in the same way as i do.
