For first the work at the backbox will go to his final; there will be a new translite - but not as the normal usual pinball you know. There should be an impression of a big Mansion House and that´s the work i started now for his realisation...... From 12mm thick plywood i saw all holes and then make the front with thin 1mm plywood; also the frames from windows and a short small roof. It´s coloured now for first with grey colour and next week the (inserts) for the translite will be made from thick transparency Makrolon sheets. Into this (inserts) will be in next time the colured graphics; made from thin Makrolon sheets. But there must be for first a new backboard for the lights which i made from 12mm plywood. In this plywood i drilled all holes for the lights to her correct positions; and after this work it was ready for the electric cables and then it could be painted for the front in new white colour. Before i make now the plastics for all windows the complete Mansion House get new colour in black; white; blue; green; dark grey to get the impression of an very old house; with this coloration i made also all other parts like the roof. And now it is the time to place the first printed plastic sheets int the windows..... And now the Mansion House is ready!? no there is missing the balustrade on the roof! I made this balustrade from thin brass. I cutted the brass into his pieces and soldered all pieces together to a complete balustrade. After this the balustrade got his primer; then silver and black airbrush colour to get the feeling of an old look. I drilled holes in the roof and placed the balustrade with glue into his holes; and now the Mansion House is ready! The last work for the backbox was the new remote battery holder which is placed in the near of the original battery holder; but outside!. I connected the new holder with cables which are mounted at two round sticks of wood. This round sticks have the same size as original batteries and they can placed into the original battery holder without damage of the original board. But you must look for the correct position of the cables; if you use a multimeter you can find the correct place at 4.5 volts; and diagonal the ground. The work at the backbox is now ready and the metal box of Thing can be restored. This metal box you can´t make in a new condition only with cleaning - it never will look like new. I decided to sand the complete box; then fillered with primer; silver colour and for the final clearcoat: Now it´s looking like a new box and it´s ready to go under the playfield.There must be made a new special apron for my widebody machine. I used a metal sheet and transfered all sizes to this sheet. Then i cutted it out of the metal sheet and bended it. The bended metal sheet needs some little changings and after this it took place onto the playfield - it looks now like an original :-) I prepared this apron with sanding and brushed the primer. I decided that i make no decals and also it would be not printed; i made the coloured graphics now with cutted stencils; made on my cnc router. I brushed all colours with stencils: silver - gold - blue - red - green - white and after this it got his clearcoating. The apron is ready now and built onto the playfield - very nice looking like it would be original. Now it´s time for the next mods and there will be a new mod which i start about the time of christmas days..... one part from the kitchen; a teapot and a mp3 player..... I use from the teapot only the lid and cut the edges of this lid. It has the real dimensions now for the new sat-dish; and the rest of parts i make from brass. This brass parts are soldered and all is ready now for airbrushing; after this all parts can be completed and the dish get a graphic print inside: “THE ADDAMS TV”. The sat dish is now ready for her new place on the roof and for the Addams Family coming now modern times....Inside of my TAF will be now an old TV model “Admiral” which i made complete by myself from wood. Inside of this TV will be a high tech flat screen which is from the mp3 player. Also the same now with the rest of my work; i made from an old wood stick of a wallpaper roller the body frame for the Cousin It, give him a lot of cotton hairs on his head; painted this hairs in brown/copper colour and made him a head from a block of resine; made on the lathe turn machine.... Hat is coloured in black with gold coloured lines.... and for the Pierre i found a real nice toy from childrens animals farm. The head was cutted very fast away; and then i made some changings as you can see on the pictures below......
