Und wieder eine “special” Coindoor. Zuerst wieder alles abgeschliffen und dann passend zu den Decals lackiert und versiegelt.

And again a “special” coindoor. First all parts were sanded and then painted in the design from my cabinet decals.

Links einige neue Flipperteile die ich für mein Projekt geschenkt bekommen habe. Einen besonderen Dank hier an “W.P.”! Da die Mechanik der Wall angefertigt werden muß; hier nun das fräsen für die Teflon Gleitschienen.

On left some brandnew parts which i got as present from “W.P.” - a very special thanks to this guy! Because i must make a prototype for the mechanic of the wall - i´m milling here some special rails from teflon.

Die fertige Mechanik für die Wall unter dem Spielfeld eingebaut. Es fehlen nur noch die kleinen Spulen die bald montiert werden. Rechts die Montage der roten Posts mit schwarzen Gummis.

The complete wall unit ready under the playfield - only missing the two small coils for the reset - coming soon. On right the mounting from the red posts with black rubbers.

Um Kosten zu sparen mache ich mir in Handarbeit alle benötigten VA Stahlteile nun selber. Viel Arbeit - was jedoch nach zwei Wochen abgeschlossen war. Und das Material hat mich fast nichts gekostet :-) Rechts er Einbau der ersten VA Lane.

To safe meoney i decide to produce all stainless steel parts by myself. Lot of work - but after 2 weeks job was complete done - only the material´s price - but it was very low :-) On right picture the first lane fixed on the playfield.

Auch neue Protektoren wurden hergestellt - speziell für die fallenden Kugeln aus den Wire Return Lanes. Am Überrollkontakt kann nun kein Schaden mehr entstehen. Auch im Bereich wo die Movable Ramp aufsetzt befindet sich nun ein VA Blech.

I made “special” new protectors for the falling ball from the wire return lanes. This small stainless steel part around the switch protects the playfield. Also i made new protectors in the area of the movable ramps; at the location where the flap is sitting on the playfield.

Links sieht man nun die fertig eingebauten kompletten VA Stahlteile. Links beginne ich nun mit der Anfertigung sämtlicher Plastics; hier mache ich mir zuerst Schablonen aus Papier.

On left you see all stainless steel parts fixed on the playfield. Also i can use my old Apron which is coming from a Demolition man - perfect without any changes. On right i prepare the new plastics, first i make some stencils made from paper.

Die fertig zugeschnittenen Plastics; die ein weiteres Special erhalten werden: Sie werden als 3D Plastics realisiert. Auf diese Plastics kommen nun die Aufbauten; alles in Stein als medieval Thema.

The plastics are cutted out and ready to realize it to 3D plastics. There will be made new parts of the medieval theme which will be fixed on the plastics; some areas without and printed for the illuminations.

Links nun die ersten fertigen Aufbauten im Bereich der rechten Rampe. So soll nun alles um das Spielfeld herum gestaltet werden. Hinten im Bereich der Wall wird eine komplett abnehmbare alte Ruine plaziert.

On left the first area which is near ready around the right movable ramp. In this design i make now all around the plastics. For the area around the wall i make an old castle which is made in one piece - that it´s easy for removing like service work under the wall.

Die alte Ruine an ihrem Platz hinten rechts im Flipper. Nun wird eine neue Rampe hergestellt; die paasende Papierschablone liegt an ihrem Platz. Für die Herstellung der Steinrampe fertige ich mir zuerst einen massiven Kern aus Holz.

The old castle - unit at his place in the upper right corner. Now i make a new stone ramp. The paper stencil takes his place to see that all has his correct dimensions. For this wall i make now a core of wood

Die fertig abgegossene Form in ihrer weiteren Bearbeitung. Hier wird nun der komplette Holzkern ausgeräumt. Die fertig ausgeräumte Rampe mit innen einmontierten Plastics; um die Rampe vor Abnutzung zu schützen.

Now i remove the wood core from the ramp, with milling and sanding. On right the complete ramp with plastics inside; that the ramp is protected against the rolling ball.

Die fertige Rampe nun plaziert neben der alten Burgruine an ihrem Ort.
